 A cool tool, but not what I was looking for I was looking for a tool that would run a screen-saver pattern on part of my windows screen. I use a Laptop computer and a CRT display, and extend the windows desktop onto both of them. I keep SCADA-type stuff on one (one side, if you will), and actively interact with the other side . . . so I am concerned with burn-in. But it is probably too much to hope for, for a screen-saver to monitor half of a 1920x768 virtual screen, and run pixel-saver patterns on the relatively inactive half. File fort File Fort is a very interesting piece of freeware. Backing up CMOS values is hard to come by in freeware.
 Unable to use I could not use FileFort as it created an error "backup file too large". I require a program that deals with larger files.
 FileFort File Backup Software I had to research and find freeware to back up CMOS settings for a computer hardware/software class. This worked well, very easy to use. thanks
Possibly the best freeware ever written I have been pondering how to implement a backup system for a workgroup that DOESN'T have all user files stored on a server (which could easily have a backup script run). I was looking for a simple, cheap piece of software to backup selected folders on a client PC to a server machine on a scheduled basis.  Hi,I followed a link to download a version of true image that you were supposedly distributing as free for home use so I could evaluate it at home before recommending the corporate version to the schools that I work for.unfortunately after creating an account the free download was not available and I cancelled the "True image echo" download after looking at the pricing as I found it to be a lot more costly than the Altiris solution offered to me by Symantic.
